What this project is for
SolarWise India is designed to help households understand the inputs behind rooftop solar costs, scheme support, electricity-bill impact, and payback. Every policy statement should point to its source and scope.
The first research and product pilot focuses on Hyderabad and TGSPDCL residential connections. The provider shown on a user's electricity bill is the relevant starting point; a city name alone does not establish utility coverage.
What this project is not
- Not a government service, subsidy portal, electricity provider, or installer.
- Not an approval, a binding quote, or a promise of savings or returns.
- Not a substitute for a vendor site assessment, the DISCOM process, or the official scheme portal.
How we handle uncertainty
When a source is incomplete or a material input is missing, the dependent estimate stays unavailable. We show what needs more review instead of filling in an attractive number.
